Statewide, more black 15- and 16-year-olds convicted of felonies in adult court end up in prison for drug crimes and robbery than white or Latino teens. At the same time, white 15- and 16-year-olds are more likely to be there for sex crimes.


Notes: The figures represent totals for 1999 through 2003. Robbery includes armed robbery, aggravated robbery and home invasion. Murder includes first- and second-degree murder but not attempted murder.
