CPS recommends controversial charter relocations, shorter renewals for low performers

CPS is recommending renewals for all 14 charter and contract schools whose agreements are up this June. However, officials have expressed concerns about the academic performance and fiscal stability of half of the schools, which are being recommended for shorter renewals than the traditional five years.
